hapless

Some people are absolute fuckwits aren’t they? People in general, I find, are fuckwits (except you obviously. And me and a few other people I know). Some people have their heads stuffed so far up their own arses they could lick their own tonsils.

You just know that as soon as someone goes ‘I’m not being funny, but….’ then they are going to be annoying cunts who fuck up your entire project because they are so filled with self importance and have egos the size of a house and they can’t believe they’ve not been consulted from the second the project has been conceived and therefore are unimpressed and are hell bent on making people pay by being…fuckwits.

Breathe in….breathe out….breathe in….breathe out…..

When I was in Primary 3 I got put in the corner of the classroom for 2 weeks because I couldn’t stop organising people. In otherwords, was a bossy madam that did everybody’s head in.

It seems quite bizarre to me that my job is basically that – organising. I organise everything. I organise workloads, I organise offices, I organise projects, I organise people, I organise so much and usually I love it, but at the moment, I’m not feeling the love for being a bossy madam. No I am not. I would love to just go into work and do stuff for myself and then go home.

No such luck.

Work rant over.

Sorry about that.

Here’s a run down of all that happened to me this weekend:

Watched Telly

Drank wine (oops)

Went CD shopping (exciting. We bought Ł140 worth of music. Dribble)

Had a bit of a squabble

Watched a disturbing film

Went through to my bedroom to listen to music and read magazines to avoid film

Watched no’s 23 – 1 of the 100 best cartoons ever tv programme

Read newspaper in bed

Started the wallpapering

Had an almighty fight with bandito

Did some housework

Did a bit more wallpapering

Avoided the 5 year olds birthday party (bad)

Made up with Bandito

Went to Bandito’s family do thing to see a new baby

Watched more telly

Had a crap sleep

That really is it. How dull is that? Oh it was boring. But oh my wallpaper looks lovely. And it will look even lovlier when it’s up.

Think of all the stupid scenarios you can imagine when a couple of short muppets put up wallpaper and we did them.

I spilled paste on the floor

Bandito got the first practice strip up squint

All other practice strips went up squint

I dropped a metal ruler on our fancy wallpaper and tore it (!)

I dragged the fancy wallpaper the wrong way and got a big scratch on it

I pasted the front of the fancy wallpaper

Bandito put the first strip of fancy wallpaper up upside down

Bandito dropped a pencil in the tub of paste

I sat on a blob of paste that was on the floor and then sat on the sofa

Yes. All very amusing now but eye bulgingly stressful at the time.

Something fun has to happen to me soon or I’m going to go mad. (or more mad…take your pick).

Here's a picture of Bandito 'prepping' the wall. '90% preparation, 10% perspiration' he said - at the beginning of the project. Obviously he's not saying that now, after having to go to B&Q 3 different times to pick up bits and bobs that he forgot the first time.
